Registration
The UrbanCare Dialogues invites 12 Brazilian municipalities to participate in three steps.
Step 1: Two representatives for each local power are welcome to apply with this form.
Step 2: The selection process ends and publishes the results on May 30, 2023.
Step 3: Municipalities selected can register and pay the attendance fees (500€ p/p) from June 1 to August 1.
The fee includes in-person participation in all sessions (opening, technical, closing), project reviewing, proposal development advisory, all training and workshop material, lunches and coffee breaks during the three-day technical sessions, professional photography and video recordings, and a final hardcopy report.
- Special attention is given to medium-sized, rapidly growing cities (“intermediary cities”).
- Applying with an early stage urban project proposal related to:
○ Children and young people’s needs about health and well-being,
○ Elderly needs concerning health and well-being,
○ Inclusive transport,
○ Healthy streets as public space and/or green connectors,
○ Nature-based solutions with a health equity focus. - Eligible Municipalities must have a stable credit rating outlook and a low-risk profile.
- Proficiency in English is valued but not deciding. English-speaking advisors and mentors will have a translation into Portuguese.

The application form has three parts easy to fill in.
Part 1. Applicant, is about information about the Municipality and the participants attending the event in person.
Part 2. Experience, is to describe the Municipality’s experience in working with development agencies and where does the project proposal need help.
Part 3. Submit, is for uploading a five-slide presentation describing the project proposal. The slides template is available.
